Adriana Garay received a B.A in Communications from University of New Mexico in 1992 and an MBA with a specialization in International Business from University of Miami in 2001. Adriana has 25 years of National and International executive corporate experience having held several posts (CEO, VP, Executive Director) in large and complex organizations.

As a bilingual member of the International Coaching Federation, she is acutely aware of the challenges leaders face in today’s market unpacking diversity, equity, and equal opportunity challenges. Her coaching style is a blend of curiosity, boldness, and intuition. She gets it and will help you build great teams, overcome complex challenges, and increase your current productivity and revenue expectations one powerful conversation at a time.

On a personal note, Adriana’s top VIA Strength is Honesty, Spirituality, Love of Learning, Perseverance, and Forgiveness. She resides in Florida and is often spotted in Albuquerque, NM visiting family. When she is not coaching she loves to salsa dance, train, travel, and live out her bucket list!

Alison Carroll

Alison Carroll is an executive coach who has been working with transitioning military veterans for almost a decade. Prior to becoming a coach, Alison had her own translation practice, helping clients express themselves across barriers of language, culture, business and relationships. After eight years in coaching, she rebranded her practice in 2018 as The Hidden Narrative to embrace her belief in the power of language and narratives to shape our lives. Alison coaches veterans seeking to enter the private sector, pursue educational opportunities or start their own small businesses. She is trained by the Newfield Network, is a Newfield Certified Coach (NCC) and holds the PCC credential from the ICF.

Amanda is dedicated to help individuals to develop self-confidence and enhance emotional agility. Her coaching approach revolves around empowering individuals to break free from self-limiting beliefs and embrace their inherent strengths. Amy encourages and challenges her clients to practice deep awareness of their own potential and of their ability to impact the lives of others. She has 20+ years experience as a Community Events Director, and a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist. With over 25 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Alexis has worked with many clients seeking to reduce stress and anxiety in their lives. Amanda (Sam) Sharma

Amanda (Sam) Sharma is a Leadership Coach and provides coaching to entrepreneurs, academics and public leaders. She is a Director at a small and growing IT company and works to align technology and tools to support processes and strategy in the area of emergency management and natural resources.

She is a skilled sustainability professional and has worked in the areas of disaster preparedness and recovery. She is a former public administrator and has experience as a county planner, federal program manager, emergency manager and as an executive director of a local nonprofit. Sam is also a part-time lecturer and has instructed graduate courses in Leadership, Ethics, and Environmental Law.

Sam was drawn to the mission of Stand Beside Them, as that daughter of veterans who became successful business owners following their military service. She has worked with organizations and founders of start-ups to incorporate a triple bottom line approach - social and environmental responsibility along with profitability - into its business strategy.

Sam is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the ICF DC Metro Chapter. She has been coaching since 2005. Sam holds an Executive MBA and a Master of Resource Law Studies from the University of Denver. She is a Prosci Certified Change Manager and has been helping individuals and organizations navigate change for over 15 years.

Amanda Veinott

Amanda Veinott is an expert in Military Talent Programs and Veterans Initiatives. Amanda has coached over 500 veterans and military spouses on career transitions and business startups and has worked with over 45 companies on their military hiring efforts. She creates customized educational content and resource guides to help facilitate greater awareness of military talent and connects companies to various governmental organizations and Veteran Service Organizations with the intent of increasing reach among the target demographic. In prior roles, Amanda created legacy human resource initiatives, crafted leadership development and employee engagement programs, and developed and deployed organizational research and surveys. Amanda graduated from Christopher Newport University with a B.S. in Psychology, received her M.B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from Centenary University, and holds a CPC – Certification in Professional Coaching –approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Andrew Heffner

Prior to becoming a coach and workshop developer, Andrew Heffner served as a New York City prosecutor for over twenty years and developed team and departmental leadership skills as Chief of the Manhattan District Attorney's Official Corruption Unit. He then spent three years as an Assistant New York State Attorney General, where he and his team investigated matters pertaining to public integrity and corporate ethics. Andy decided to shift his focus from the institutional agenda of his role with the government, to focus all of his energy and resources on helping individuals realize their personal and professional goals. Through his coaching, Andy helps his clients think more clearly, improve decision-making, and communicate effectively; he then assists them in developing forward-moving action plans geared to accomplish their specific objectives. Andy is passionate about empowering individuals to maximize their potential and reach goals without compromising personal or professional integrity.
