Coaching Coordinator

Stand Beside Them, Inc. (SBT), a 501c3 national nonprofit organization, is looking for a part-time Coaching Program Coordinator. This critical role is ideal for a dynamic individual who is highly organized, customer service-focused, and wants to help support the needs of veterans! 

General Responsibilities

  • Coordinate intake of new clients (veterans, spouses, caregivers) including interviews to determine their goals and needs; assist with pairing veterans with the right coach and email communication with coaches/coachee.

  • Coordinate tracking of all coaching relationships and final assessments (end of engagement survey). Reach out to Coach and Coachee, as needed, if engagement is not progressing.

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of new coaches, including checking credentials, processing coaching agreements, and creating “Good News” bios and website entries. Also responsible for updating records on existing coaches and coaching collaborations as needed.

  • Design and execute social media campaigns to support the recruitment of new coaches and awareness of program among veterans, spouses, and caregivers.

  • Liaise with International Coach Federation (ICF) Chapters/National and other coach organizations to help recruit new coaches and expand SBT in all 50 states.

  • Organize special events (online/in-person) and partner outreach programs to ensure that organizations can refer veterans to us for services.

  • Compile testimonials, case studies, statistics, and other content for use in recruitment and fundraising.

  • Assess current programs and propose new educational and corporate programs/services/offerings to coachees, coaches, and other veterans.

  • Maintain documentation related to the coaching program including Coaching Manual, contracts and agreements, tracking sheets, etc.

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and the Board President as needed.

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum one year of demonstrated experience in program coordination, project management, or related administrative role.

  • Technical competency with online tools including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently, work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively as well as part of an interdepartmental team.

  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, results-driven environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.


Preferred skills and experience:

  • Interest in military/veteran’s issues.

  • Experience with software tools including Canva, Wix, Constant Contact, Network for Good.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with the Coaching profession.

Hours per week: 24

$15.00 per hour

100% Remote, flexible hours
