Michael Beckmann

Mike Beckmann is the Associate Director, Learning & Organizational Change for the Farm Credit Administration. Prior to his current role, he was a consultant and executive coach. For most of his career he has been a human resources executive, with work experiences in the public, academic and private sector. During his previous tenure in the public sector, Mike was with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, where he was the Director of the Presidential Management Fellows Program and subsequently the Deputy Associate Director responsible for the Federal civil service learning and development centers. He started his professional career as a military officer, serving both on active duty and in the active reserves. Mike earned his Ph.D. in Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2003. He also has an MBA & BBA from George Washington University. Mike holds the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation, and was certified as an executive coach at Columbia University. He is also a volunteer employment coach with several nonprofit organizations who serve transitioning military service members.

Steve Sobczak

South Carolina (SC)

Colonel (R) Steve Sobczak spent 33 years as a US Army Medical Service Corps plans and operations officer leading and coaching at all levels of the Army including Joint units. He had multiple combat tours establishing and operating military healthcare systems in Iraq and Afghanistan. Steve and his wife Sue, a retired US Army lieutenant colonel combat veteran, along with their six kids moved more than 24 times, and have lived overseas four different times. During Steve’s transition from the Army, he felt unsure of what he wanted to do, so he took a Department of The Army Civilian job doing essentially the same thing he had been doing. He continued to have an unsettled feeling in his heart that God was calling him to use his leadership and coaching gifts in another way. With the help of a coach, Steve pursued certification through the ICF. Steve is an ACC certified coach who also facilitates The Leadership Challenge, Arbinger Mindset, and Spectrum Temperament Development. Steve‘s life mission is to come alongside people and awaken possibility, gain meaning, purpose, and clarity while going through life/work transitions.

Cheryl Procter-Rogers

Carolyn McMillion

Dr. Joel Edman
