Mark Veary

He has a business background in workplace learning and professional development as well as a qualification in psychotherapy. Although he am able to support people facing all kinds of life challenges, his specialty is in recovery and wellness coaching, helping people to realize their full potential from a mind, body and behavior perspective. As a recovery coach, Mark works with people who are recovering from addictions - particularly those in the first year of recovery exploring ways of reducing the risk of relapse and integrating the benefits of recovery into their daily life. Karen Shrum

She brings a unique perspective gained only from being an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Big Four partner, and senior government executive. Karen founded 2 illuminate LLC, a coaching firm whose mission is to create results, with mindfulness and compassion. Her clients include leaders from professional services firms, large system integrators, multinational healthcare, technology, and supply chain providers. She is passionate about helping professionals transition into careers that they love. In partnership with the Life Purpose Institute, she published a paper entitled “Career Fulfilment: Find the Work You Love.” Karen is deeply committed to the Veteran community having recently served as a Senior Advisor for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) where she worked with leaders across the Department of Veterans Affairs to drive increased access to healthcare and benefits for Veterans. Earlier, she served as Partner in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Government and Public Sector practice. She has held senior consulting roles at Grant Thornton, BAE Systems Information Technology, and IBM Business Consulting Services. Karen received her MBA in Organizational Behavior from George Washington University and her BA in English and Applied Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Kim Lachapelle

Her son is an MT2 Submariner currently serving with the US Navy.

Jeremy May

Rena Robey

Dr. Robey is currently serving as the Technical Director for Strategic Engagement in the National Security Agency (NSA) Engagement and Policy Directorate. She oversees the technical health of the people and systems supporting Strategic Engagement. She is currently developing a performance support system for those external engagers with the White House. She also serves on the Senior Technical Review Panel and Senior Advocate for the Persons with Disabilities Employee Resource Group. Dr Robey received her doctorate from Johns Hopkins University (JHU) with her research focusing on the intersection of technology to impact workplace performance. She received her Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She currently enjoys teaching data-informed transformational leadership for technology implementation at the graduate level as a professor for JHU. Rena held many formal leadership positions at NSA before being elevated to the Senior Executive Service as a DISL technical leader. She is a creative coach-like leader capable of driving change by working tirelessly to collaborate across all levels. Prior to joining NSA, Rena gained over 15 years of experience leading large workforce development functions for government agencies. As a leader at NSA for over 20 years, Rena coached countless current and future leaders through professional and organizational challenges. Her coaching philosophy stems from a belief that we are all capable of amazing growth. Clients value her expertise but also her authentic, respectful, and fun approach to assist them to navigate complex challenges. She is credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation. Jonathan Aronson

Jonathan Aronson is an accomplished coach with a background in executive leadership, business and career development, accumulated over fourteen years, where he worked within a variety of industries. Native whose father worked for the U.S. Navy and has spent the majority of her career in government contracting. Lindsay is familiar with supporting employees transitioning out of the public sector and is an avid volunteer in her spare time.

Mike Coe

Mike coaches military and Veterans before, during and after they transition to becoming civilians again. He retired from the US Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel after a 22-year career and created Vets at Ease after experiencing a military Transition Assistance Program that did not provide the tools required to thrive as a civilian. He uses mindfulness, martial arts, movement, storytelling, nature-based, and improv comedy principles to co-create individualized practices, exercises, and experiences so clients can make successful transitions and lasting change. His extensive improv and leadership background creates a unique coaching offer; a blend of serious leadership and playful creativity.
