Amy Luckey

California (CA)

Life & Relationships, Executive/Leadership

Amy's journey to coaching has been a circuitous one, informed by her personal experiences as much as her professional ones. Crowned as gifted in her childhood, she recently recognized that she has ADHD. With the diagnosis has come incredible clarity, including acceptance of her challenges and celebration of her unique strengths: comfort in her own skin. Amy is an International Coaching Federation certified coach (ACC) and a former strategy advisor in the nonprofit and philanthropy sector, online political organizer, and academic. She holds a master's degree in sociology from Harvard University and a B.A. in psychology and sociology from Indiana University. Through the peak of the pandemic, she dedicated three years to bolstering the community morale at a global software consultancy, as well as promoting inclusive and effective team practices in hybrid, remote, and distributed contexts. Her coaching is informed by her conscious dance and meditation practices. She counts Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Thich Nhat Hanh, Parker Palmer, and Lori Saltzman & Kathy Altman (of Open Floor International) among the teachers from whom she drew insight and inspiration. Having experienced the transformative power of effective coaching, she is committed to creating nonjudgmental space for clients to explore, grow, and create their own paths through and forward.
