Chaplain (Col.) Jay Johns

Chaplain and Colonel Jay Johns is Executive Director of the Armed Forces Chaplains Board and served as a both a National Guard Chaplain and a US Army Chaplain. Prior to his role as Executive Director, he served as the Command Chaplain for North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM). He is endorsed by the Baptist General Convention of Texas and holds the credential of Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF). He graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a degree in History and later from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX with a Master of Divinity degree. During his time as a US Army Chaplain he completed the Army’s Advanced Civilian Schooling program and graduated with a Master of Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In addition to that, he is a 2015 graduate of National War College in Fort McNair, DC where he earned the degree of Master of Science in National Security Strategy. His coaching focuses primarily on life, career and leadership.

Iris Charabi

Iris Charabi-Berggren is an experienced leadership coach who provides customized coaching to executives in startups, creative entrepreneurs, as well as individuals in transition. Michael Beckmann

Mike Beckmann is the Associate Director, Learning & Organizational Change for the Farm Credit Administration. Prior to his current role, he was a consultant and executive coach. For most of his career he has been a human resources executive, with work experiences in the public, academic and private sector. During his previous tenure in the public sector, Mike was with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, where he was the Director of the Presidential Management Fellows Program and subsequently the Deputy Associate Director responsible for the Federal civil service learning and development centers. He started his professional career as a military officer, serving both on active duty and in the active reserves. Mike earned his Ph.D. in Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2003. Steve Sobczak

Colonel (R) Steve Sobczak spent 33 years as a US Army Medical Service Corps plans and operations officer leading and coaching at all levels of the Army including Joint units. He had multiple combat tours establishing and operating military healthcare systems in Iraq and Afghanistan. Steve and his wife Sue, a retired US Army lieutenant colonel combat veteran, along with their six kids moved more than 24 times, and have lived overseas four different times. During Steve’s transition from the Army, he felt unsure of what he wanted to do, so he took a Department of The Army Civilian job doing essentially the same thing he had been doing. He continued to have an unsettled feeling in his heart that God was calling him to use his leadership and coaching gifts in another way. With the help of a coach, Steve pursued certification through the ICF. Steve is an ACC certified coach who also facilitates The Leadership Challenge, Arbinger Mindset, and Spectrum Temperament Development.
